This museum, dedicated to Britain's waterway history, is set within a historic dock complex. It is the home of the world's largest floating collection of canal craft; some of the cabins may be boarded. Also indoor exhibits, period cottages, Power Hall, steam engines, Blacksmith's Forge, lock demostrations and boat trips. Cafe and gift shop.

TOILETSUnisex, accessible toilet at reception. Accessible toilets also provided in the Island warehouse within main ladies and gents blocks. Ladies; small, lateral transfer not possible.
BOAT CABINSDeep steps to enter. Limited space within.
CANAL/DOCKSBrick/cobbled surface with some quiet steep slopes. A designated route is suggested for wheelchair users - details on a map available from reception.
ISLAND WAREHOUSEhouses exhibition, cafe and toilets. Accessible lift or stairs at entrance. Level access once inside.
