Tatton is often quoted as one of England's most complete historic estates, with its fine Georgian Mansion full of art treasures and original furnishings; the Old Hall where the Middle Ages really do come to life and the Home Farm much as it was in the 1930's. Glorious gardens, which rank among England's finest, are set at the heart of a thousand acres of parkland. Adventure playground, restaurant, gift and speciality food, plant sales.

PARKINGDrop off zone for disabled passengers and limited blue badge holder spaces in Stableyard car park, close to Mansion and Gardens. Blue Badge holder spaces in main car park with level tarmac access to Stableyard (200m). Blue Badge parking available close to the Farm and Old Hall (by prior arrangement). Provision made for nearest available areas for large parkland events/shows.
TOILETSIn stableyard with tarmac access. Knutsford Entrance. At the Old Hall and Home Farm - cobbled approach to both.

FACILITIES FOR VIPBraille and large print guide at Mansion and Gardens.
GENERALWheelchairs/Batricars available for loan at Garden entrance and Farm - only to be used at the attraction at which they are hired. Deposit required.
GARDENSRamp to entrance, step-free access to most areas. Steps to formal and rose garden. Loose/compacted to gravel paths - wheelchair users may need assistance.
HOME FARMLevel approach entrance. Cobbled/uneven stone surfaces and some steps within. Some steep ramps. Wheelchair users may need assistance and cannot access all buildings. Sounds/smells of a working farm. Some animals can be handled by arrangement.
MANSIONSteps to reception/front entrance. Alternative ramped entrance to rear of Mansion - ask Mansion Staff for assistance. Level access throughout ground floor. Only access to upper and lower floors is via stairs - no lift. Mansion stewards can provide assistance, information and photographs on most rooms which cannot be accessed.
OLD HALLVisits take form of a guided tour. Grassy surface between entrance and Old Hall. Level access to ground floor rooms (beginning and end of tour); ramp into reception area and barn. Steep steps to upper floor. Low lighting in some parts. Some objects may be handled.
STABLEYARDThis area gives access to the Mansion, Gardens, Shops and Restaurant. Uneven cobbled/flagged surfaces.
