Situated within the Cheshire countryside, this former nuclear bunker would have served as the Regional Headquarters in the event of nuclear war.

PARKINGAlthough no designated blue badge parking spaces, there is ample parking both within the compound and also on road.
TOILETSAccessible toilets are situated on both levels and allow lateral transfer for wheelchair users, handrails are also incorporated. Baby changing facilities.
ACCESSUp a 1:7 gradient or up 12 steps. Assistance from staff is available upon request, either by pre-notification or locating a member of staff on site. This then takes you through a doorway with a width of approximately 80cm and into the N.A.A.F.I. and souvenir section, with tables of a height suitable for wheelchair users.
GROUND LEVELShows exhibits of military vehicles, Royal Observer Corps, Radio Communications, Radio History etc.
LOWER LEVELNo lift to this section, although the management are hoping to install a lift in the future. However, ambulant disabled people can access this section via a stairwell, of 24 steps with a landing after the first 12. This level shows BT apparatus, Scientists room, attack warnings etc.
